Under section 7 of PCA, the court has observed that mere possession or recovery of currency notes is not a sufficient ground to constitute an offence for conviction of accused and for the proof of charge. Here, it is mandatory to prove the charges beyond reasonable doubt that accuses has voluntarily accepted money knowing it to bride. It was further held that the demand for and acceptance of bribe amount and mobile phone by the appellant, is not proved beyond reasonable doubt.
